Change one quantity, and watch the bid move
Change one quantity in a real example estimate and see the bid update straight away, how far it moved, and how Undo puts a slip straight back.
The steps
- This is an estimate in Bidfident. Your bid, the price you'd submit, is always at the top.
- Say the form footings grow from 148 to 180 m2. Click the quantity to change it.
- Type the new figure, just like a spreadsheet, and press Enter.
- The bid updates straight away, and a small tag shows how far it moved.
- The line's own total follows too, so there are no formulas to check.
- Typed 1,800 by mistake? The bid jumps by far more at once, so the slip is hard to miss.
- Undo puts it straight back: 180 again, and the bid is back where it was.
